Eendracht:
Martinique (MQ) - Sint Maarten (SX)

23 January - 31 January 2023

Step on board the Eendracht to discover the Windward Islands or the Lesser Antilles! The diverse, mostly volcanic islands, the tropical climate, the blooming nature and the almost always present northeast trade wind make these islands a sailing paradise. Nowhere else in the world will you find such good wind conditions in combination with such an impressive and varied tropical nature. Join this journey to experience the Caribbean atmosphere! Between Martinique and Sint Maarten there are many beautiful islands to visit. Anchoring in places where you normally won’t get to anytime soon. Think of: Dominica, Guadeloupe, Nevis and St. Kitts, Anguilla, St. Eustatius and Saba. During the trip, the captain decides which islands will be visited for the best possible sailing conditions. Open to Windseekers aged 15-80.

Ports

Martinique is an island on the Eastern Caribbean Sea and an overseas territory of France. With its white sandy beaches, clear blue water and green hills it is the picture of a tropical paradise. Enjoy the unique culture of the island with its Creole and French influences and the multicultural cuisine. Visit the Paul Gauguin Interpretation Centre, dedicated to the artist’s brief but fruitful stay on the island. Participate in watersports or take a hike through the tropical forest.

STO Garant

This Journey is covered by the STO Garant guarantee. You can find the conditions for this guarantee scheme on STO Garant’s website (www.sto-garant.nl/en/downloads).

This process is automatic and you do not need to do anything else. After receiving your booking, Windseeker will send you detailed information on how and when to pay for your journey – together with all the other important details.

What does it mean?

In short: you do not pay the booking amount to Windseeker but instead into an escrow account. This trust account holds your payment in reserve until your journey’s end. The booking amount is then released to Windseeker on the day after your trip ends. If Windseeker or the Ship should become financially insolvent before the end of your trip, STO Garant will implement the guarantee. The Guarantee Scheme details how you can make a claim under the guarantee in such cases. You can read more about this here.
