Eendracht:
Sal (CV) - Sal (CV)

29 November - 09 December 2024

Island hopping in Cape Verde. Board the Eendracht in Sal and sail to the old settlements of the island Santiago. Afterwards, set course to the island of fire: Fogo, a kind of moon landscape in various shades of black where Pico de Fogo is towering high above. Finally, you will sail to Mindelo to visit the pristine nature of Santa Antao, with its green valleys with rock formations and breath-taking views. This is a unique sailing trip with everything in it; culture, nature and active sailing.
Open to all Windseekers aged 15-80.

Ports

Sal is one of the three sandy eastern islands of the Cape Verde archipelago, together with Boa Vista and Maio. The island is a dream destination for windsurfing enthusiasts, due to its sandy beaches and persistent winds. Tourism is on the rise in Cape Verde, but outside of the beach resort of Santa Maria the island retains its relaxed feel. Explore the quiet streets with their brightly colored houses, the blue eye cave, and the saline flats. The sun shines 350 days a year, so bring sunscreen!

OTHER JOURNEYS YOU MIGHT LIKE

STO Garant

This Journey is covered by the STO Garant guarantee. You can find the conditions for this guarantee scheme on STO Garant’s website (www.sto-garant.nl/en/downloads).

This process is automatic and you do not need to do anything else. After receiving your booking, Windseeker will send you detailed information on how and when to pay for your journey – together with all the other important details.

What does it mean?

In short: you do not pay the booking amount to Windseeker but instead into an escrow account. This trust account holds your payment in reserve until your journey’s end. The booking amount is then released to Windseeker on the day after your trip ends. If Windseeker or the Ship should become financially insolvent before the end of your trip, STO Garant will implement the guarantee. The Guarantee Scheme details how you can make a claim under the guarantee in such cases. You can read more about this here.
