Biscay Sailing on a Tall Ship. Join Morgenster in A Coruna for a 5-day adventure. Meet your crew mates and get to know the Ship before hoisting the sails and sailing into Biscay, the old Basques whaling grounds. You can still spot some whales and dolphins in here! Depending on the speed and wind direction, you might stop to visit one of the islands outside La Rochelle before entering this famous two tower protected harbor.
Open to all Windseekers, minimum age 15 years.

Ports

A Coruña is a port town in the north west of Spain. Here you will find the Tower of Hercules, a lighthouse that has been in operation for 1.800 years! The town itself is an affluent commercial and tourism hub, with plenty of things to see and do. Visit the popular beaches, explore the city centre, or sample some of the many cultural activities. The Aquarium Finisterrae lets you explore the marine life of the region. But if you prefer your fish on a plate, A Coruña’s restaurants can help you out.

La Rochelle is a coastal city on the west coast of France, with three ports offering shelter from the Bay of Biscay. See the three historic towers of the old port as the 16th century protestant corsairs would have, take a day cycling to the 'Île de Ré' bridge-connected island to explore the quaint villages. Popular with cruisers and tourists, the seafront is a place to wine and dine, enjoying the region's top cuisine.

This process is automatic and you do not need to do anything else. After receiving your booking, Windseeker will send you detailed information on how and when to pay for your journey – together with all the other important details.
