Morgenster: Santa Cruz de Tenerife (ES) - Santa Cruz de Tenerife (ES)
14 December - 20 December 2019
Discover the Canary Islands. In December the Morgenster stars the subtropical sailing season with a number of exciting journeys in the Canaries. This Spanish archipelago off the coast of Africa is famous among sailors for great weather conditions all year round. You will start and end the trip in Tenerife, making it easier to make travel arrangements. In between you will sail to different places, depending on the wind conditions. Enjoy the sun, take a dip in the blue sea, look for dolphins, admire the landscapes and enjoy your break from everyday life! Open to all Windseekers aged 15 and over.
Santa Cruz de Tenerife is the shared capital of the Canary Islands, together with Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The central square Plaza de España is a real eye-catcher, situated between the ocean and the old, bustling city centre. Lose yourself in the crowded alleys, find a spot on one of the terraces, or leave town and discover the rugged volcanic landscape. The museum of Nature and Man is worth a visit. Chances are you’ll find pilot whales in the waters around Tenerife, so keep an eye out!
