The Tall Ships Races 2024: Cruise in Company 1. Join Patricia for the Cruise in Company between two capitals: Helsinki and Tallinn, and explore the hidden gems of the Baltic Sea. Without a race, you will have more time and flexibility to visit different places, stopping in a smaller port or a picturesque anchorage along the way. You might sail some part of the way with other vessels, before you all make your way to your destination. In Tallinn you will spend the last two days of your adventure in port, joining Crew Parade, Crew Party, and other fun events where you will meet many other international sailors.

Ports

Helsinki is the capital city of Finland with a population of about 600,000 people. It has been established in 1550. Take a ferry to visit the Fortress of Suomenlinna or the Seurasaari Island and Open-Air Museum. If you prefer to stay on the mainland you can't miss the Rock Church - literally built into rocks. Other attractions include the Esplanadi Park, Hakaniemi Market and lots of museum. Fans of architecture cannot miss the Finnish National Theater and the Lutheran Chathedral.

Tallinn is a capital of Estonia, situated on the north coast of the country. It lies on the shore of Baltic Sea, in the Bay of Finland. When visiting, you must see the old town dating back to the medieval times and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Of course you can't miss the Estonian Maritime Museum which depicts the country's long maritime traditions. The Seaplane Harbour is a high tech museum which offers a very unique experience while climbing Kohtuotsa will provide you with a beautiful vista.

What does it mean?
