Santa Maria Manuela:
Lanzarote (ES) - Fuertaventura (ES) - Tenerife (ES)

13 December - 18 December 2024

Join Santa Maria Manuela for an unforgettable journey, departing from the vibrant port of Arrecife in Lanzarote. Experience the mild December climate of the Canary Islands as you sail through crystal-clear waters, offering breathtaking views, and a chance to connect with the sea. Departing Lanzarote, you’ll set the course towards Fuerteventura’s Rosario, where you’ll discover the contrast between rugged coastlines, golden beaches, and clear turquoise waters. The captain will chart the most enjoyable course, inviting you to participate in sailing activities or simply unwind on deck and soak in the panoramic vistas. Next, you’ll sail for Tenerife, where you will say goodbye to the Ship. This sailing trip is an invitation to discover the soul of the sea and the hidden treasures of the Canary Islands.
For Windseekers aged 14-80 years (trainees younger than 18 have to be accompanied by an adult).
There are different cabins available, both for single and double occupancy – contact info@windseeker.org for details.

Ports

Lanzarote is one of 7 main islands in the Spanish Canary Islands Archipelago on the Atlantic Ocean. It is often referred to as a "volcano island". For the evidence of ongoing volcanic activity visit the Timanfaya National Park and Cueva de los Verdes. Go swimming, snorkelling or windsurfing in the blue waters or relax on the beach, or visit the cactus garden. You can also take a stroll through one of the small towns and try the local wine.

Tenerife is the largest of the Canary Islands, and a popular tourist destination. One of the largest Carnival festivals is hosted here, and for tourists there is a lot to see and do. But the island is large enough to escape mass tourism, so let its natural beauty seduce you to a hike or a drive around the island. You'll find mountains to climb, cliffs overlooking bays, and ravines. The 'Island of eternal spring' is just what you need if you arrive fresh from your Journey!

STO Garant

This Journey is covered by the STO Garant guarantee. You can find the conditions for this guarantee scheme on STO Garant’s website (www.sto-garant.nl/en/downloads).

This process is automatic and you do not need to do anything else. After receiving your booking, Windseeker will send you detailed information on how and when to pay for your journey – together with all the other important details.

What does it mean?

In short: you do not pay the booking amount to Windseeker but instead into an escrow account. This trust account holds your payment in reserve until your journey’s end. The booking amount is then released to Windseeker on the day after your trip ends. If Windseeker or the Ship should become financially insolvent before the end of your trip, STO Garant will implement the guarantee. The Guarantee Scheme details how you can make a claim under the guarantee in such cases. You can read more about this here.
