Step on board in the capital of Portugal and set course west, towards the horizon. Spend days and nights out on the ocean, learning to sail a Tall Ship and enjoying the digital detox. Search the waves for dolphins and whales, admire sunsets on the sea and look at the bright stars without all the light pollution. Make new friends, get some rest from everyday life, and visit the beautiful Azores at the end. With 850 nautical miles of open ocean sailing this is a journey for true adventurers!
For Windseekers aged 14-80 years (trainees younger than 18 have to be accompanied by an adult).

Ports

Lisbon has a long and varied history as a major trading hub, much of which is still visible in the old city centre. Discover Alfama, the old quarters with its many old alleys, steps and the Lisbon Cathedral. The famous tram line 28 will get you there – an experience in and of itself. And be sure to check out a fado concert if you want to learn about saudade – loss, yearning and comfort, all rolled into one. Emotions that all seafarers will get to know one way or the other…

Terceira is one of the Azores islands in the Atlantic Ocean. Terceira is home to Azores' oldest city Angra do Heroismo, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. If you like nature, visit the Algar do Carvao caves or Monte Brasil park. If you prefer history, stroll through Angra do Heroismo and don't miss the Town Hall! You can also climb up to Alto da Memoria for a beautiful view over the city.
