Tecla:
Galapagos (EC) - Rapa Nui (CL)

17 May - 07 June 2026

From Galápagos to Rapa Nui (Easter Island). Find Tecla anchored in the enchanting Galápagos Islands and take a moment to swim with turtles before raising the sails and taking course southward. What lies ahead is not just a voyage—it’s a passage through deep blue solitude, where wind, current, and sky shape each day. Leave the tropics behind and let the trade winds carry you forward while life on board settles into its timeless rhythm: watch rotations, salt spray over the bow, stars blazing across the night sky. Each day, the vast ocean teaches patience, presence, and the quiet joy of movement under sail. Reach Rapa Nui – remote, wind-swept, and alive with history. Admire the moai statues as you approach the anchorage in Hanga Roa where you will finally go ashore to walk among the stories carved in stone, among the legends whispered by trade winds and surf. This is an adventure, a crossing – an ancient path retraced by modern hands and a journey that lingers long after your feet return to solid ground.
Open for all Windseekers, minimum age 15 years.

Itinerary

Day 1 – Welcome aboard in the Galápagos. Safety briefing, introduction to life at sea. Optional swim and shore time if permitted.
Day 2 – Final preparations. The vessel is made ready. Weather is checked. Sails are set. We depart into the wide Pacific.
Day 3–10 – Southbound sailing. We cross the equator and leave the tropics behind. The trade winds fill our sails as we settle into life at sea.

Day 11–18 – The heart of the passage. Deep water, long days, strong winds. Time slows. Stars guide us.
Day 19–20 – Final approach. The winds shift as we near Rapa Nui. The outline of the island rises from the sea.
Day 21 – Arrival at Easter Island. Anchor in Hanga Roa. Step ashore and explore a place shaped by time, wind, and legend.

Ports

Rapa Nui – or Easter Island – is a remote island on the Pacific Ocean. It belongs to Chile. Famous for its hundreds of giant stone statues (Moai), Rapa Nui is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Go diving with the underwater Moai, admire the Milky Way at night without the light pollution, explore the Anthropological Museum and try the local specialties for an all round experience.
