Looking for something truly different this summer? Step aboard the Stad Amsterdam for an unforgettable sailing adventure from July 24 to August 5, 2026.
Your journey begins in Málaga, where you’ll make your own way to the port and be warmly welcomed on board. After settling into your cabin, you’ll get to know the ship and crew before setting sail towards Brest.
Life at sea is more than just the view. You’ll become part of the crew, learning how a large square-rigged sailing ship operates while building practical skills like teamwork and communication. You’ll also have the chance to challenge yourself: whether that means taking the helm, handling sails, or even climbing the yards if you’re feeling brave.
No sailing experience? No problem. During your watch shifts, experienced crew members will guide you through everything you need to know. You’ll stay in a comfortable 4-person cabin with a private bathroom, sharing the experience with up to 52 other young people – so expect to leave with new friendships, as well as new skills.
You’ll arrive in Brest on the afternoon of August 4, before disembarking the following morning.
The Stad Amsterdam is a majestic 76-meter tall ship carrying 2200 m2 of sails. Recently, she led the Sail-In during SAIL Amsterdam with royal guests on board. This is a rare opportunity to sail on a truly iconic ship.
Don’t miss your chance to be part of this amazing voyage!
Cost for young people up to and including 25 years old is €1,250 (transfers to and from the ports not included).
