Reykjavík is the capital of Iceland. As you approach from the sea, you’ll sea a modern city skyline with snowy volcanic mountains in the background. Svalbard is a Norwegian archipelago in the Arctic Ocean with its largest island being the famous Spitsbergen. If you want to experience the arctic climate, although tempered by a warm current, Svalbard is the place to visit. Look for seabirds, reindeer and marine mammals but watch out for polar bears! With approximately 2,600 people living in Svalbard, there are more polar bears than people. It's a must-see place for nature lovers and enthusiasts of the polar regions.
