Atlantic sailing towards the sun. Join the Oosterschelde for this crossing from grey and rainy northern Europe to always sunny Canary Islands. Board the Tall Ship in Rotterdam and sail along the English Channel, across the Bay of Biscay, down the coast of Portugal and Spain, and on towards Tenerife. This journey of almost 3 weeks will give you a lot of sailing experience, wonderful memories and nautical miles in your logbook. Open for all ages, minimum age 15 years. Only places in 2-person cabins available.

Ports

Rotterdam is the largest port of Europe, and a modern, bustling town. Much of the historic city centre was destroyed during World War II, but extensive rebuilding resulted in a modern, multicultural city with many architectural highlights. Rotterdam has excellent cultural facilities and a diverse nightlife; during the summer the city hosts a large number of events. Discover the city by bicycle and go for a coffee in Hotel New York, the former headquarters of the Holland America Line.

Tenerife is the largest of the Canary Islands, and a popular tourist destination. One of the largest Carnival festivals is hosted here, and for tourists there is a lot to see and do. But the island is large enough to escape mass tourism, so let its natural beauty seduce you to a hike or a drive around the island. You'll find mountains to climb, cliffs overlooking bays, and ravines. The 'Island of eternal spring' is just what you need if you arrive fresh from your Journey!
