Eendracht:
Portobelo (PA) - Shelter Bay (PA)

09 January - 16 January 2027

*Early bird price – valid until 30th of June 2026!* Step on board the Eendracht for an adventurous 8-day active sailing journey in Panama and enjoy exploring the Caribbean Sea, with unmatched views! Begin the adventure in a historic Portobelo, and set course for the open sea. This journey’s emphasis will be on active sailing, but you can also expect to visit a tropical island and go for a swim in the famous azure waters of the region. You will sail in watches, also at night – this is not an island-hopping expedition. However, depending on the direction of the wind, you will sail towards the San Blas Islands or to Bocas del Toro, while making your way to the Shelter Bay. Set course for a tropical adventure and let yourself be enchanted by the beauty of the Caribbean Sea!
Open to all Windseekers aged 12-80.

Ports

Portobelo is a town on the Atlantic coast of Panama, near the entrance to the Panama Canal. It was established as a trading port in the 16th century, thanks to its deep natural harbour. The town and its surrounding beaches and old forts are incredibly beautiful, and offer something to everybody: the nature lovers, history buffs, or those who just want to relax.

Shelter Bay is a marina in Panama, near the city of Colon. It lies close to the entrance to the Panama Canal on the Atlantic side, and provides a save haven for sailing vessels from around the world!

STO Garant

This Journey is covered by the STO Garant guarantee. You can find the conditions for this guarantee scheme on STO Garant’s website (www.sto-garant.nl/en/downloads).

This process is automatic and you do not need to do anything else. After receiving your booking, Windseeker will send you detailed information on how and when to pay for your journey – together with all the other important details.

What does it mean?

In short: you do not pay the booking amount to Windseeker but instead into an escrow account. This trust account holds your payment in reserve until your journey’s end. The booking amount is then released to Windseeker on the day after your trip ends. If Windseeker or the Ship should become financially insolvent before the end of your trip, STO Garant will implement the guarantee. The Guarantee Scheme details how you can make a claim under the guarantee in such cases. You can read more about this here.
