Ports

Aarhus is a port city on the northeast coast of Jutland, Denmark. One of its highlights is Den Gamle By, an open-air museum featuring historic buildings from across the country. The impressive 13th-century cathedral is another must-see. With its laid-back atmosphere and plenty to explore, Aarhus is a favourite among tall ship crews who return again and again. Just west of the city, lakes and forests offer great hiking opportunities for those looking to enjoy the outdoors.

Larvik is a coastal town in the South of Norway, 2 hours south of Oslo by train. It’s a quiet town, and visitors normally only stay for a short time. Larvik Maritime museum allows visitors to learn about the sea-faring history of the Vestfold region, and the sailing legend Thor Heyerdahl. The nearby fjords are surrounded by peaks, perfect for hiking in the summer.

Sunderland is a coastal city in North East England, aging back to the 7th century. Whether you’re a nature or a culture lover, you will surely find a bunch of nice activities to do! For instance, have a lovely day out with fish&chips for lunch at the Roker & Seaburn Beaches or take a relaxing walk in Herrington Country Park. Also, go on a trip to the picturesque Penshaw Monument. Discover the Sunderland Museum & Winter Gardens.
