Following Magellan. This is the first leg of Bark Europa’s voyage celebrating the 500th anniversary of Ferdinand Magellan’s adventures. Board the Tall Ship in Seville, Spain – the starting port of the great explorer’s expedition. Over the following 10 days you will make your way towards the Atlantic and sail towards Tenerife. The Canary Islands are famous for year-round good weather, and a favorite among sailors crossing the ocean. The ideal voyage to end the summer season, this trip will surely charge your batteries for the coming autumn. Open to Windseekers of 15 years and older. Limited places in 2-person cabins available.

Ports

Tenerife is the largest of the Canary Islands, and a popular tourist destination. One of the largest Carnival festivals is hosted here, and for tourists there is a lot to see and do. But the island is large enough to escape mass tourism, so let its natural beauty seduce you to a hike or a drive around the island. You’ll find mountains to climb, cliffs overlooking bays, and ravines. The ‘Island of eternal spring’ is just what you need if you arrive fresh from your Journey!
