Atlantic Christmas. If you want to escape the Christmas season in Europe then this voyage is for you! Cross the Atlantic from Cape Verde to Barbados and celebrate Christmas and out on the ocean, with a special dinner prepared by the on-board cook. Arriving in Barbados you will get to celebrate New Year in true Caribbean style and spend a few additional days on board to explore the island. Open to Windseekers of all ages, minimum age 15 years.

Palmeira is the third-largest town in Cape Verde, situated on the island of Sal, yet it still retains that cosy small village atmosphere. When you land in Palmeira you will have just completed a crossing over the Atlantic waters. Whilst resting in Palmeira, visit some bars and restaurants to try local specialties, or explore further to desert Oases, caves and beaches.

Bridgetown is the capital city of Barbados, an island nation eastern Caribbean. It’s the only city on the island, and thus is the hub for tourism – the historic old town is a UNESCO World Heritage site is a place to wander around, and learn about the island’s colonial history. Attractions are plentiful – after watching a game of cricket and trying some flying fish for lunch, relax with a glass of locally-distilled rum and prepare for your next voyage.
