Gosport (UK) - Antwerp (BE)

03 July - 09 July 2016

Come on board of Challege Wales in his sailing from Gosport to Antwerp. On board you will get teached everything to sail the Tall Ship. You will across the North Sea and enjoy the beautiful things up there. Open to Windseekers age 18-25 years only.

Ports

Gosport is a Borough town in the South Hampshire. Until the last quarter of the 20th century, Gosport was a major naval town associated with the defence and supply infrastructure of Her Majesty’s Naval Base, and is still home to HMS SULTAN and a Naval Armament Supply Facility as well as a Helicopter Repair base. The Gosport peninsula has 17 miles waterfront on Portsmouth Harbour and The Solent and is a maritime playground for all.

Antwerp is a city in Belgium, on the River Scheldt, which is linked to the North Sea by the Westerschelde estuary. Its long maritime traditions are clear in the fact that the Port of Antwerp is one of the largest in the world. Come by train and you will be greeted by the monumental Antwerpen-Centraal station. Art lovers cannot miss the Rubens House and Museum aan de Stroom, while the Chocolate Nation, the largest Belgian Chocolate museum in the world, should appeal to most visitors!
