Warnemunde (DE) - Copenhagen (DK)

12 August - 14 August 2018

Sail with the Christian Radich from Warnemunde to Copenhagen. On board you will participate in the daily working of the ship alongside professional seamen: standing lookout, manning the helm, helping in the galley, hoisting sail and voluntarily climb the rigging/mast. Open for all ages, minimum age 15 years (age 12-15 years at request and accompagne with an adult).

Ports

Warnemünde is a seaside resort and a district of the German harbour city Rostock. Located on the Baltic Sea, Warnemünde boasts a sandy beach. The district is known for its yearly events Warnemünder Woche and Hanze Sail. There is plenty to see and do in Warnemünde, and subways connect the beach town to the more urban Rostock. Dwell through the small alleys behind the Alter Strom, check out the lively music scene, or go for a hike along the coast. The lighthouse offers a great point of reference.

Copenhagen, Denmark’s clean, modern capital will win you over with its many districts, each with its distinctive character. Copenhagen has an abundance of water and many parks, so rent a bicycle and explore the city! You’ll find architecture old and new, lovely waterfronts and squares, fountains, and of course the friendly inhabitants of the city. Copenhagen has a lot of great restaurants and bars, and in the summer plays host to several festivals. In the winter, its museums are worth a visit.
