Explore the northern coast of Spain as you sail into the Bay of Biscay from A Coruna on the coast of Atlantic to Pasaia, near the border with France. Spend four days sailing along the coast, during which you’ll likely visit a port or two (winds permitting!) Join the crew in setting the sails, steering and navigating, or climb the masts for one-of-a-kind views! Whether you’re an experienced sailor wishing for a short spring break, or a first-timer looking for a shorter experience to see if tall ship saling is for you – this journey will not disappoint!
Open to Windseekers aged 15 and older.

Ports

A Coruña is a port town in the north west of Spain. Here you will find the Tower of Hercules, a lighthouse that has been in operation for 1.800 years! The town itself is an affluent commercial and tourism hub, with plenty of things to see and do. Visit the popular beaches, explore the city centre, or sample some of the many cultural activities. The Aquarium Finisterrae lets you explore the marine life of the region. But if you prefer your fish on a plate, A Coruña’s restaurants can help you out.

This Journey is covered by the STO Garant guarantee. You can find the conditions for this guarantee scheme on STO Garant’s website (www.sto-garant.nl/en/downloads).

This process is automatic and you do not need to do anything else. After receiving your booking, Windseeker will send you detailed information on how and when to pay for your journey – together with all the other important details.

 

What does it mean?

In short: you do not pay the booking amount to Windseeker but instead into an escrow account. This trust account holds your payment in reserve until your journey’s end. The booking amount is then released to Windseeker on the day after your trip ends. If Windseeker or the Ship should become financially insolvent before the end of your trip, STO Garant will implement the guarantee.
