Step on board the Morgenster in the ship’s homeport Den Helder for an 8-day adventure. Leave the port behind and head southwest across the North Sea and on to the busy Dover Strait to enter the English Channel and head for Great Britain. Hoist the sails, take the helm, climb the masts for unforgettable views, and make new friends among the crew. As you make your way further west, the coastline becomes increasingly spectacular, slowly welcoming you to Cornwall. There, your journey will finish in the picturesque harbour of Foway. During the voyage you’ll experience spectacular sunsets, peaceful night watches beneath a sky full of stars, and the unique camaraderie that only life aboard a traditional sailing ship can offer.
Please be aware that this is not a youth journey. Anyone aged 15-70 is welcome on board, but we expect the majority of trainees to be adults.

Ports

Den Helder is a beautiful town in the Netherlands, situated at the very tip of the North Holland province, regularly hosting the Tall Ships events. Discover the town’s sea connections by visiting the Marinemuseum and Nationaal Reddingmuseum Dorus Rijkers. Take a break and go for a walk in the botanical gardens Oranjerie De Groene Parel Den Helder or admire sea life in the Fort Kijkduin Museum and Aquarium.

Fowey is a small port town in Cornwall, in South-West England. Sitting at the mouth of the steep-walled Fowey River valley, Fowey is a cute tourist town, filled with pubs, cottages and an enduring fishing legacy. Walk between castle ruins, coves and caves in the surrounding bays, or go for Fish and Chips alongside the harbour. Every August, the Fowey Regatta brings a plethora of boats to the town, a more peaceful meeting than the with ‘Fowey Gallant’ pirates of the 1400s.

What does it mean?

In short: you do not pay the booking amount to Windseeker but instead into an escrow account. This trust account holds your payment in reserve until your journey’s end.
