Morgenster:
Port Blanc (FR) - Amsterdam (NL)

09 May - 15 May 2027

Sailing along Europe’s historic coast, from the peaceful Breton harbour of Port Blanc to the vibrant maritime city of Amsterdam. Along the way, you will visit several different places, depending on the weather and tides, experiencing charming harbours and authentic coastal life. During sailing you’ll be hoisting the sails, steering, navigating, and climbing the masts, together with your watch and experienced crew of Morgenster. There will also be plenty of time for conversation, singing shanties, and searching the waves for dolphins. This spring journey is a perfect combination of sailing and exploring, culminating in one of the most famous port cities in the world.
Please be aware that this is not a youth journey. Anyone aged 15-70 is welcome on board, but we expect the majority of trainees to be adults.

Ports

Port-Blanc is a small village in the department Côtes-d’Armor, on the North coast of Brittany. It is said to have one of the most beautiful coasts in the region. For history, visit the traditional Britain chapel, made of stones and semi-buried. Enjoy the view of the small islands nearby, the seascape and the breathtaking coast of Granit Rose. And if you like to keep active, go hiking near the coast, on the Les Douaniers path, among the beautiful fragrance of local flowers.

With more bicycles than people, cycling is an integral part of Amsterdam’s DNA. Hop on and see the city like the locals do! Winding waterways, idyllic bridges and historic buildings – one of the most memorable ways to truly see Amsterdam is from the canals. Amsterdam has a full cultural agenda showcasing the very best festivals, nightlife, exhibitions & events, plus there is enough practical tourist info, hotel, museum, excursion & attraction listings, you won’t miss a thing!

STO Garant

This Journey is covered by the STO Garant guarantee. You can find the conditions for this guarantee scheme on STO Garant’s website (www.sto-garant.nl/en/downloads).

This process is automatic and you do not need to do anything else. After receiving your booking, Windseeker will send you detailed information on how and when to pay for your journey – together with all the other important details.

What does it mean?

In short: you do not pay the booking amount to Windseeker but instead into an escrow account. This trust account holds your payment in reserve until your journey’s end. The booking amount is then released to Windseeker on the day after your trip ends. If Windseeker or the Ship should become financially insolvent before the end of your trip, STO Garant will implement the guarantee. The Guarantee Scheme details how you can make a claim under the guarantee in such cases. You can read more about this here.
