Exploring the Canary Islands.Take a break from cold and darkness to spend a week on board the Eendracht in sub-tropaical climate. Discover the best-kept secret places of the archipelago. Board the ship in Las Palmas for a round trip. After throwing the moorings you will leave Gran Canaria behind and set course for the most beautiful places. Active sailing will be interspersed with excursions on different islands, making it a great trip for true adventurers. After a week of exploriong, you will finally make your way back to Gran Canaria before going back home filled with energy for the upcoming winter months. There is no set itinerary, which means more flexibility to choose the route with the best sailing conditions. Open to Windseekers aged 15-80.

Las Palmas de Gran Canaria is a cosmopolitan town, the shared capital (with Santa Cruz) of the Canary Islands. Situated on the ‘wet’ north side, the city feels more authentic than the touristy places on the ‘dry’ south side. Las Palmas offers beaches, cheap shopping, culture and excitement with a night life, primarily in the district of Vegueta. Its culture is decidedly Spanish, mixed with influences from all over the world, as Las Palmas’ port has been in operation for centuries.

This Journey is covered by the STO Garant guarantee. You can find the conditions for this guarantee scheme on STO Garant’s website (www.sto-garant.nl/en/downloads).

This process is automatic and you do not need to do anything else. After receiving your booking, Windseeker will send you detailed information on how and when to pay for your journey – together with all the other important details.

 

What does it mean?

In short: you do not pay the booking amount to Windseeker but instead into an escrow account. This trust account holds your payment in reserve until your journey’s end. The booking amount is then released to Windseeker on the day after your trip ends. If Windseeker or the Ship should become financially insolvent before the end of your trip, STO Garant will implement the guarantee.
