Sailing camp for young people aged 15-17. Spend 5 days on board the Eendracht, learning to sail and meeting new people. Leave the port of Rotterdam and sail where the wind takes you – after all it’s about the journey, not the destination! Keep watch with other trainees: steering, navigating, setting sails… you are the ones who sail the ship! Of course, under the guidance of the professional crew. There will also be enough free time to spend getting to know your shipmates, looking at the endless horizon or simply sitting on deck with a book. Open to young Windseekers aged 15-17. Please be aware that although the crew speaks English and English-speakers are welcome on board, the main language on board will be Dutch.

Ports

Rotterdam is the largest port of Europe, and a modern, bustling town. Much of the historic city centre was destroyed during World War II, but extensive rebuilding resulted in a modern, multicultural city with many architectural highlights. Rotterdam has excellent cultural facilities and a diverse nightlife; during the summer the city hosts a large number of events. Discover the city by bicycle or on foot – or take a train to the nearby Hague.

This Journey is covered by the STO Garant guarantee. You can find the conditions for this guarantee scheme on STO Garant’s website (www.sto-garant.nl/en/downloads).

This process is automatic and you do not need to do anything else. After receiving your booking, Windseeker will send you detailed information on how and when to pay for your journey – together with all the other important details.

 

What does it mean?
