Eendracht:
Willemstad (CW) - Jamaica (JM)

15 January - 23 January 2025

Find the Eendracht among the colourful houses of Willemstad and leave Curacao behind as you hoist the sails and set sail for Jamaica. Join the crew in actively sailing the Ship across the Caribbean Sea: set the sails, navigate, steer and stand on lookout. Make new friends, and enjoy the Caribbean sun. Reach Jamaica and enjoy its breath-taking nature, from the Blue Mountains to the coral reefs, which make snorkelling in local waters an absolutely spectacular experience!
Open to all Windseekers aged 15-80.

Ports

Willemstad is the capital of Curaçao, a Caribbean island and a constituent country of the Netherlands. Famous for its beaches and clear-blue sea, Curaçao is a great place to enjoy watersports, from snorkelling, through kitesurfing to sailing, but the Kura Hulanda Museum is also a must-see with its rich collection of historical artifacts. If you're the adventurous type, visit the Hato Caves as well.

Jamaica is an island country and one of the Greater Antilles islands in the Caribbean Sea. With 2.8 million people, it is one of the largest countries in the Caribbean. The capital is Kingston, although you might have heard more about the historical Port Royal, the old pirate town destroyed by an earthquake. Jamaica boasts beautiful beaches, with spectacular coral reefs - perfect for snorkelling - and the stunning Blue Mountains, and it's a home to many tropical plants and animals.

STO Garant

This Journey is covered by the STO Garant guarantee. You can find the conditions for this guarantee scheme on STO Garant’s website (www.sto-garant.nl/en/downloads).

This process is automatic and you do not need to do anything else. After receiving your booking, Windseeker will send you detailed information on how and when to pay for your journey – together with all the other important details.

What does it mean?

In short: you do not pay the booking amount to Windseeker but instead into an escrow account. This trust account holds your payment in reserve until your journey’s end. The booking amount is then released to Windseeker on the day after your trip ends. If Windseeker or the Ship should become financially insolvent before the end of your trip, STO Garant will implement the guarantee. The Guarantee Scheme details how you can make a claim under the guarantee in such cases. You can read more about this here.
