Sailing Coastal Galicia. This 9-day sailing break will take you along the coast of Portugal and Spain to A Coruna. Step on board the Maybe in Cascais, outside of Lisbon. Sail along the coast of Galicia with amazing scenery, fantastic food, and great cultural heritage. Experience life on board a traditional ship, from learning to steer to making new friends. Enjoy sailing on the waters of the Atlantic, admire the faraway horizon during the day and the stars on night watches. For Windseekers of all ages, minimum age 15 years.

Ports

Cascais is a popular port town in Portugal with a large yacht harbor and several sandy beaches in and around town. Surfing, windsurfing, sailing and kitesurfing are popular in the region, and nearby cliffs are a great destination for a hike. The town proper offers everything you need to recuperate from your exertions: restaurants, taverns and all the urban sophistication you might miss when at sea. You can visit Lisbon from here for a day trip, but Cascais itself is also well worth a visit.

A Coruña is a port town in the north west of Spain. Here you will find the Tower of Hercules, a lighthouse that has been in operation for 1.800 years! The town itself is an affluent commercial and tourism hub, with plenty of things to see and do. Visit the popular beaches, explore the city centre, or sample some of the many cultural activities. The Aquarium Finisterrae lets you explore the marine life of the region. But if you prefer your fish on a plate, A Coruña’s restaurants can help you out.
