Nassau is the capital city of the Bahamas, founded in 1670 by the British. In the early 18th century it was a pirate center, with many infamous pirates dwelling there. The town is full of colonial architecture and its tropical location and busy port make it a popular tourist destination. Try the local rum and cigars, and don’t forget about the food! Norfolk is a city in the Virginia state, USA. Since its establishment in the 17th century, Norfolk has been an important shipbuilding and maritime trade center. The Naval Station Norfolk remains the world’s largest naval base since 1917. It’s also a destination for sailing vessels, notably taking part in Operation Sail, as well as Sail 250 for the anniversary of the funding of the United States. Some of the attractions include Nauticus maritime discovery center, or the Chrystler Museum of Art.
