Oosterschelde:
Sal (CV) - Sal (CV)

22 January - 02 February 2018

Leave the cold northern winter behind in order to cruise around the Cape Verde archipelago! This 11-day voyage will take you on an island-hopping adventure, with an average of 6 islands visited. The days will be spent either sailing in Trade winds or exploring the islands (often with a local guide), while at nights the Ship will be stay on anchor. Enjoy the tropical weather, varied landscapes of different islands, volcanoes and the blue ocean. Bring your sunglasses, sunscreen and the camera to photograph the sea turtles, fly-fish and, hopefully, whales! Open for all Windseekers, minimum age 15 years.

Ports

Sal is one of the three sandy eastern islands of the Cape Verde archipelago, together with Boa Vista and Maio. The island is a dream destination for windsurfing enthusiasts, due to its sandy beaches and persistent winds. Tourism is on the rise in Cape Verde, but outside of the beach resort of Santa Maria the island retains its relaxed feel. Explore the quiet streets with their brightly colored houses, the blue eye cave, and the saline flats. The sun shines 350 days a year, so bring sunscreen!
