Fecamp is a port town in the Normandy region of France. Its long-standing maritime and fishing traditions date back at least to the 10th century. Since then many Tall Ships have left Fecamp on cod fishing campaigns. It is also home to a Benedictine Fecamp Abbey, founded in middle ages. Its Palais Bénédictine is now open to visitors and well worth a visit. You can also simply enjoy the maritime atmosphere of the town, strolling down a beautiful harbour and having seafood in a local restaurants.
