Tenerife (ES) - La Palma (ES) - Tenerife (ES)

09 November - 14 November 2024

Join Santa Maria Manuela on a captivating sailing voyage from vibrant Tenerife to lush La Gomera, and onward to La Palma, known as “La Isla Bonita”, before returning to Tenerife. Spend your days at sea learning the ropes of the Tall Ship, immersing yourself in sailing experiences from helming to trimming sails and navigating. Relax on your own with a book on deck, or in the company of other participants, sharing stories at the bar. Anchor off the picturesque shores of La Gomera to explore its hidden treasures, then set course for the captivating landscapes of La Palma, renowned for its beauty. End the journey with a celebratory deck BBQ in Santa Cruz, Tenerife, marking a fitting conclusion to the voyage.
For Windseekers aged 14-80 years (trainees younger than 18 have to be accompanied by an adult).
There are different cabins available, both for single and double occupancy – contact info@windseeker.org for details.

Ports

Tenerife is the largest of the Canary Islands, and a popular tourist destination. One of the largest Carnival festivals is hosted here, and for tourists there is a lot to see and do. But the island is large enough to escape mass tourism, so let its natural beauty seduce you to a hike or a drive around the island. You'll find mountains to climb, cliffs overlooking bays, and ravines. The 'Island of eternal spring' is just what you need if you arrive fresh from your Journey!

OTHER JOURNEYS YOU MIGHT LIKE

STO Garant

This Journey is covered by the STO Garant guarantee. You can find the conditions for this guarantee scheme on STO Garant’s website (www.sto-garant.nl/en/downloads).

This process is automatic and you do not need to do anything else. After receiving your booking, Windseeker will send you detailed information on how and when to pay for your journey – together with all the other important details.

What does it mean?

In short: you do not pay the booking amount to Windseeker but instead into an escrow account. This trust account holds your payment in reserve until your journey’s end. The booking amount is then released to Windseeker on the day after your trip ends. If Windseeker or the Ship should become financially insolvent before the end of your trip, STO Garant will implement the guarantee. The Guarantee Scheme details how you can make a claim under the guarantee in such cases. You can read more about this here.
