Ibiza (ES) - Genoa (IT)

15 June - 24 June 2023

Join the clipper Stad Amsterdam in Ibiza and get to know the crew before setting out to explore. Sail the Mediterranean Sea from Ibiza in Spain to the southern French town of Sanary-sur-Mer. There you will stop in a beautiful bay, where you will be able to swim, snorkel, relax or explore the cozy town. Another fun activity may be visiting Toulon, which is only 15 kilometers away!
The sails are hoisted again after our very pleasant stay of more than 24 hours on the Côte d’Azur. The next and final destination on this voyage will be Genoa in northwestern Italy, a city with long maritime traditions and home to Christopher Columbus.
Open for all ages, minimum age 15 years.
You must have a full vaccination and take an antigen self-test in order to join all Stad Amsterdam journeys. Click here to learn more.

Ports

Ibiza has the reputation of a boisterous party town where people hit the beaches by day and dance all night. This is but part of the story of this picturesque island, which is part of Balearics near the coast of Spain.
Its amazing to explore Ibiza, with trendy shops, interesting restaurants, luxury hotels and spas in its beautiful harbor. Additionally, the island has 56 sandy beaches around the coastline, making it the perfect place to simply relax.

Genoa is an Italian city on the coast of the Ligurian Sea with long maritime traditions. Historically a very important Mediterranean port, it is also known as the birthplace of Christopher Columbus. Take a stroll in the traditional Centro Storico and stop for an Italian meal accompanied by a glass of wine. Visit the famous Aquarium and admire the many species of marine animals living there. For a dose of the city's maritime history visit Museo del Mare, then relax on one of the nearby beaches.

OTHER JOURNEYS YOU MIGHT LIKE

STO Garant

This Journey is covered by the STO Garant guarantee. You can find the conditions for this guarantee scheme on STO Garant’s website (www.sto-garant.nl/en/downloads).

This process is automatic and you do not need to do anything else. After receiving your booking, Windseeker will send you detailed information on how and when to pay for your journey – together with all the other important details.

What does it mean?

In short: you do not pay the booking amount to Windseeker but instead into an escrow account. This trust account holds your payment in reserve until your journey’s end. The booking amount is then released to Windseeker on the day after your trip ends. If Windseeker or the Ship should become financially insolvent before the end of your trip, STO Garant will implement the guarantee. The Guarantee Scheme details how you can make a claim under the guarantee in such cases. You can read more about this here.
