Statsraad Lehmkuhl:
Bergen (NO) - Bergen (NO)

21 May - 26 May 2015

Explore the North Sea and visit the remote Shetland Islands on this Sail Training Journey with the Statsraad Lehmkuhl. Meet your fellow Windseekers on deck, and after a brief instruction you’re on your way. Working with the ropes and sails, learning about navigation, keeping the ship shipshape, onwards to the Shetlands! Feel the wind through your hair, marvel at the stunning sights, and experience the freedom and isolation of sailing through the night. The North Sea can be rough, so be prepared to test your limits. But there will be time to find a spot on deck and curl up with a good book as well. Sail Training is more than a holiday – it’s adventure on the high seas. Open to all ages, minimum age 12 years. Age 12-15 accompanied by an adult / parent.

Ports

Bergen is the gateway to the Fjords of Norway and a well-established cruise port. Bergen is an international city packed with history and tradition, a big city with small-town charm and atmosphere. Stroll around old streets and alleyways, and mingle with the crowds at the Fish Market. Saunter along the listed wooden buildings at Bryggen to the old fortress at Bergenhus, or call in at one of Bergen’s museums and galleries. The panoramic views of the city, the fjord and the ocean are breathtaking.
