Den Helder (NL) - Bergen (NO)

25 June - 28 June 2017

Sail with the Statsraad Lehmkuhl from Sail Den Helder to homeport Bergen in Norway. In Den Helder there will be an event with Tall Ships and marine ships from all around the world: Sail Den Helder 2017. Therefore you can join the Ship 1 or 2 nights before your journey starts. On the 25th there will be the Sail Out Parade with all the ships leaving port. Afterwards you will go to sea and get all sails up. You can steer the helm and cross the North Sea due north. You will sail trough the beautiful fjords of Norway to enter Bergen. After dinner on the 28th you can disembark the vessel or stay one more night if you wish. Extra nights € 60 p.p.p.n Minimum age 15 years (youth aged 12-15 at request and accompanied by an adult)/ maximum age 80 years old.

Ports

Den Helder is a beautiful town in the Netherlands, situated at the very tip of the North Holland province. Visit the Marinemuseum to learn more about the country's marine traditions, take a walk in the botanical gardens Oranjerie De Groene Parel Den Helder or admire sealife in the Fort Kijkduin Museum and Aquarium.

Bergen is the gateway to the Fjords of Norway and a well-established cruise port. It's an international city packed with history and tradition, a big city with small-town charm and atmosphere. Stroll around old streets and alleyways, and mingle with the crowds at the Fish Market. Saunter along the listed wooden buildings at Bryggen to the old fortress at Bergenhus, or call in at one of Bergen’s museums and galleries. The panoramic views of the city, the fjord and the ocean are breathtaking.
