Thalassa:
St. Malo (FR) - Boulogne (FR)

26 June - 07 July 2023

Midsummer cruise in the Channel – part 2. Start the summer season by sailing Thalassa along the French and English coasts. Step on board in St Malo and sail to Torbay and Brixham. Visit Dartmouth, Salcombe, Falmouth and the Isles of Scilly. Then make another crossing to the rugged coast of Brittany and visit Aber Wrach, Roscoff (ile de Batz) and/or Lezardrieux . After that, Thalassa will most likely sail downwind back east (via Guernsey, if time permits) to finish up this beautiful cruise in Boulogne. Enjoy the longest days in the year, spent under the sails of Thalassa. Depending on the wind and other conditions, the route of this expedition may be adjusted.
Open to all Windseekers over 15 years of age.

Ports

St. Malo is an ancient town in the Brittany province of France and a major tourist destination. Visit the city ramparts to admire the old structures and beautiful vistas. Take a long walk along the Plage du Sillon beach before relaxing in the surf. Take some time to visit the unique Les Rochers Sculptes. Then go to the city and see the St Vincent Cathedral before trying some of the local food.

STO Garant

This Journey is covered by the STO Garant guarantee. You can find the conditions for this guarantee scheme on STO Garant’s website (www.sto-garant.nl/en/downloads).

This process is automatic and you do not need to do anything else. After receiving your booking, Windseeker will send you detailed information on how and when to pay for your journey – together with all the other important details.

What does it mean?

In short: you do not pay the booking amount to Windseeker but instead into an escrow account. This trust account holds your payment in reserve until your journey’s end. The booking amount is then released to Windseeker on the day after your trip ends. If Windseeker or the Ship should become financially insolvent before the end of your trip, STO Garant will implement the guarantee. The Guarantee Scheme details how you can make a claim under the guarantee in such cases. You can read more about this here.
