*Places at request* Uncovering the hidden stories of the Titanic. This voyage will take you from Southampton, via Cherbourg and Cobh in Eire, to Belfast in the wake of Titanic. The historian Geoff Wheeler will join the trip and bring to life some of the hidden stories of the white star liner. This is a perfect journey for history lovers and everyone who wants to learn something new. Of course, the Sail Training won’t be pushed aside, and you will still join the watches, steer, hoist the sails and go aloft (voluntarily) whether you’re fully able-bodied or physically disabled! Optional visits to museums in each port, all included in the cost. Open for able-bodied and disabled trainees. Minimum age 16 years. More info: info@windseeker.org The final price may be subject to small changes due to currency exchange rates.

Ports

Southampton, on the shores of the Solent, is the largest port of England. The bustling town offers plenty of distractions, and is known (sometimes reviled) for its brutalist architecture. However, the city hosts a number of fine museums, the Tudor House, and long stretches of medieval walls. Also, the beautiful English countryside is just a short drive away. The yearly Southampton boat show in september should be on any Windseeker's calendar. And don't forget to visit the Isle of Wight!

Belfast is the capital and the largest city of Northern Ireland. It started out as a small hamlet with fertile land along the mouth of the Lagan. Soon, marauders and pirates realised Belfast’s lough was deep and their shores were the perfect haven for repairing sea ravaged ships. Today Belfast is a wonderful city to explore! Visit the Titanic quarter waterfront, the Ulster Museum, or the Odyssey area where you'll find lots of entertainment. And spend some time in one of Belfast's many pubs.
