Caribbean Cruising. Give yourself a New Year treat and join the Morgenster in Fort de France, a former pirate nest on Martinique. Sail on the Caribbean Sea, exploring the islands, taking in the landscapes and looking for wildlife. Avoid the most touristy spots – the Morgenster will be mooring (or anchoring) in places too small for large cruise ships. Visit Dominica, Guadeloupe and Antigua befor disembarking in St. Maarten. Spend over a week in the tropics, taking in the sun and warmth – enough to last you until spring! Sail a beautiful Tall Ship and meet like-minded people with whom you will sail the vessel to Marigot. The exact itinerary may change depending on the winds. Open for all Windseekers, minimum age 15 years.

Ports

Fort-de-France is the capital of Martinique, a curious mixture of European and Caribbean temperament and has a wonderful climate. It is one of the largest cities in the Caribbean, so you’ll find plenty to see and do as you explore the streets. But don’t limit yourself to the city – Martinique is stunning in its beauty, with rainforests, dormant volcanoes, and beaches in all sizes. Wearing a Panama hat is allowed, and don’t forget to sample the local cuisine… it’s like ‘ouh-la-la’, but with rum!
