After a very busy and hectic SAIL Amsterdam the crew of Oosterschelde longs for a few days at sea, and you can join them for a short but relaxing trip to her next busy destination: London. This port to port delivery is the perfect short trip to find out whether sailing on board the ‘Oosterschelde’ is something for you. Become a temporary part of the crew and participate in the watches. At night you and your watch mates have the deck to themselves as you cross one of the busiest ship traffic systems in the world. Sail up the Thames River and see the English countryside from the water, before arriving in London. For Windseekers age 15 years and up.

Ports

With more bicycles than people, cycling is an integral part of Amsterdam’s DNA. Hop on and see the city like the locals do! Winding waterways, idyllic bridges and historic buildings – one of the most memorable ways to truly see Amsterdam is from the canals. Amsterdam has a full cultural agenda showcasing the very best festivals, nightlife, exhibitions & events, plus there is enough practical tourist info, hotel, museum, excursion & attraction listings, you won’t miss a thing!

London is a centre for business, finance, the arts and tourism. As such, the city has something to offer for everyone. But visiting London by ship makes the experience extra special. Go see a play in West End, explore Soho, or take a tourist bus for a sightseeing ride. Go to Hyde Park, close to Buckingham Palace, if the city bustle is a bit much after an ocean voyage. And work on your cultural karma by visiting a few of the many museums. London is so big you’ll need to revisit to see it all!
