Anne-Margaretha:
La Palma (ES) - São Vicente (CV)

29 September - 10 October 2017

You will first sail to the idyllic La Gomera. You’ll spend the day here, snorkeling, swimming, walking etc. Then again it is time to sail further south where we hope to pick up the NE trade winds. In this part of the ocean you have the chance to see whales. After a few days of day and night sailing, we will see a looming tropical archipelago: the Cape Verde Islands. You will disembark on Sao Vicente island. Open for all Windseekers, minimum age 15 years.

Ports

La Palma is one of the Canary Islands archipelago on the Atlantic. The island's volcanic landscapes, lush tropical nature and rich wildlife make it a perfect spot for hiking adventures! Climb the Teneguia Volcano for amazing views, or visit the Caldera de Taburiente National Park. Take a walk along the Balcones de la avenida Maritima and visit the Maritime Museum with its replica of the ship sailed by Christopher Columbus.

São Vicente is one of the Cape Verde islands, located off of the west coast of Africa. The island has a rare dry tropical climate, with temperatures around 25 degrees Celsius year-round. The warm ocean waters and the persistent winds make for great (wind)surfing conditions. Go horseback riding or explore the mountainous island, play a round of golf at the excellent 18-hole golf course, or relax in one of the small bars around the harbor.
