*FULLY BOOKED* Join Atyla in Szczecin, Poland, for an easygoing journey to the Netherlands. Leave the port in a Parade of Sail with many other Tall Ships, before setting course for west. Sail on the Baltic before entering the famous Kiel Canal, which will take you all the way to the North Sea. Learn to sail a Tall Ship by participating in all activities on board – from setting sails to steering and navigating, and maybe a stop somewhere along the way to go for a swim. Let the Atyla crew guide you through the Sail Training program and challenge yourself to experience new things. Log in 450 nautical miles before reaching Harlingen in the north of the Netherlands. Open for all Windseekers, minimum age 15 years. Sail as a trainee for a full Tall Ship experience and participate in all activities on board as part of the (trainee) crew. Or join as a guest and choose which activities you want to take part in.

Ports

Szczecin in North-Western Poland has a deep commitment to sail training. Discover the Underground City Trails: a network of bunkers from WWII with their unique atmosphere. If you’re more of an outdorsy type, take a canoe along the Odra river or explore Bukowe Hills which hide the ruins of old bridges and are home to numerous boars and deer. Visit one of many museums or the Castle of Pomeranian Dukes or the beautiful rose gardens.

Harlingen is a historic trade and fishing port in Friesland, the Netherlands, with roots going back over a thousand years. Its charming old town features well-preserved streets and buildings, perfect for exploring on foot. Despite its small size, Harlingen has a lively atmosphere and was a proud port of call for the Tall Ships Races in 2022. With its gezellig pubs and welcoming vibe, Harlingen is an ideal stopover for any traveler.

This process is automatic and you do not need to do anything else. After receiving your booking, Windseeker will send you detailed information on how and when to pay for your journey – together with all the other important details.

 

What does it mean?
