Bark Europa:
Rapa Nui (Easter Island) (CL) - Pitcairn (PN) - Tahiti (PF)

22 July - 22 August 2026

Step on board Bark Europa in Easter Island, Rapa Nui, and set sail for the adventure into the open Pacific. Begin the journey with a beautiful sailing leg across the deep blue Pacific Ocean towards Pitcairn before continuing to the very remote atolls of Fakarava or Rangiroa, and finally to Tahiti. Cross many miles at sea, with starry nights and bright, sunny days. While on watch, you’ll be involved in sail handling, with plenty of time to enjoy the endless ocean. This is a rare possibility of sailing many sea miles and visiting some of the most wonderful islands in the world.
Open to Windseekers aged 15-72.

Ports

Easter Island – or Rapa Nui – is a remote island on the Pacific Ocean. It belongs to Chile. Famous for its hundreds of giant stone statues (moai), Easter Island is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Go diving with the underwater moai, admire the Milky Way at night without the light pollution, explore the Anthropological Museum and try the local specialties for an all round experience.

Tahiti is the biggest island as well as the cultural, and political centre of French Polynesia, and home to the state’s capital in Papeete. Spend a lovely day on a beach (white- or black-sanded!) Admire pearls and learn about their cultural history in the Robert Wan Pearl Museum. Take a stroll through the Papeete Municipal Market for a taste of local life and have a picnic in Paofai Gardens waterfront park.

OTHER JOURNEYS YOU MIGHT LIKE

STO Garant

This Journey is covered by the STO Garant guarantee. You can find the conditions for this guarantee scheme on STO Garant’s website (www.sto-garant.nl/en/downloads).

This process is automatic and you do not need to do anything else. After receiving your booking, Windseeker will send you detailed information on how and when to pay for your journey – together with all the other important details.

What does it mean?

In short: you do not pay the booking amount to Windseeker but instead into an escrow account. This trust account holds your payment in reserve until your journey’s end. The booking amount is then released to Windseeker on the day after your trip ends. If Windseeker or the Ship should become financially insolvent before the end of your trip, STO Garant will implement the guarantee. The Guarantee Scheme details how you can make a claim under the guarantee in such cases. You can read more about this here.
