Christmas and New Year in the Canary Islands. Not a fan of the busy holiday season? Escape to the Canaries for a sailing adventure in subtropical climate instead! Join the Eendracht in Gran Canaria for a round trip of the archipelago. Spend almost 2 weeks exploring the islands with their exotic cultures, landscapes and wildilfe and enjoy the time in the sun. The sailing conditions are ideal, with good winds and the islands are relatively close together making them easy to explore. The Eendracht will take you to places where you would never go on your own. Celebrate the New Year on board and disembark on the 2nd of January, filled with sunny energy, great memories and new friendships. Open to Windseekers aged 15-80.

Las Palmas de Gran Canaria is a cosmopolitan town, the shared capital (with Santa Cruz) of the Canary Islands. Situated on the ‘wet’ north side, the city feels more authentic than the touristy places on the ‘dry’ south side. Las Palmas offers beaches, cheap shopping, culture and excitement with a night life, primarily in the district of Vegueta. Its culture is decidedly Spanish, mixed with influences from all over the world, as Las Palmas’ port has been in operation for centuries.

STO Garant

This Journey is covered by the STO Garant guarantee. You can find the conditions for this guarantee scheme on STO Garant’s website (www.sto-garant.nl/en/downloads).

This process is automatic and you do not need to do anything else. After receiving your booking, Windseeker will send you detailed information on how and when to pay for your journey – together with all the other important details.

 

What does it mean?

In short: you do not pay the booking amount to Windseeker but instead into an escrow account. This trust account holds your payment in reserve until your journey’s end. The booking amount is then released to Windseeker on the day after your trip ends. If Windseeker or the Ship should become financially insolvent before the end of your trip, STO Garant will implement the guarantee.
