Grenada (GD) - Martinique (MQ)

18 January - 29 January 2023

Cruising in style on the Caribbean Sea. Spend 12 days on board the Morgenster, sailing and exploring the Caribbean. Step on board in Grenada and set course north along the Grenadines, considered one of the world’s best areas for sailing. Stop by in the and famous Tobago Cays and snorkel with majestic sea turtles before making your way to the volcanic island of St. Vincent. Visit Saint Lucia along the way and finally reach Martinique to celebrate the ending of your adventure in true Caribbean style! The itinerary of this journey is not fully set, and both the winds and the preferences of trainees will be taken into consideration when choosing the exact route. Open to all Windseekers over 18 years old (please note that this is not a youth voyage and we expect a big variety of ages on board).

Ports

Grenada is an island-state composed of a main island, Grenada, and six smaller islands. Located in the Southeastern Caribbean Sea it hosts more than a hundred thousand inhabitants. The capital city, Saint George's, is surrounded by a hillside of an old volcano crater and a pretty big harbor. Those islands are well known tourist destinations because of the beautiful waters, astonishing landscapes and local culture. So, take your hiking shoes and go for walk to the top of the old volcano!

Martinique is an island on the Eastern Caribbean Sea and an overseas territory of France. With its white sandy beaches, clear blue water and green hills it is the picture of a tropical paradise. Enjoy the unique culture of the island with its Creole and French influences and the multicultural cuisine. Visit the Paul Gauguin Interpretation Centre, dedicated to the artist's brief but fruitful stay on the island. Participate in watersports or take a hike through the tropical forest.
