Oosterschelde:
Easter Island (CL) - Pitcairn (PN) - Mangareva (PF)

13 June - 29 June 2024

DARWIN200 Global Voyage: Leg 17. Sail across the Pacific Ocean to land at fascinating Pitcairn Island, home to the descendants of the mutiny on the Bounty. The island is rich with history, including ancient Polynesian rock carvings and unique birdlife. Taste local breadfruit and unique honey! After Pitcairn, sail through the coral-rich waters of French Polynesia, arriving at Mangareva, in the Gambier Islands. Flights connect Mangareva to Tahiti and beyond, allowing for easy onward travel.
There is no more Covid-19 protocol on board, but the participants must make sure that they comply with the rules of the countries visited during the Journeys.

Ports

Easter Island - or Rapa Nui - is a remote island on the Pacific Ocean. It belongs to Chile. Famous for its hundreds of giant stone statues (moai), Easter Island is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Go diving with the underwater moai, admire the Milky Way at night without the light pollution, explore the Anthropological Museum and try the local specialties for an all round experience.
