Arendal (NO) - Arendal (NO)

07 May - 10 May 2015

Short but sweet – get some sail training under your belt on board of Sorlandet. After a brief instruction, you will be in full swing readying the ship’s 27 sails. It’s all about catching the wind and gaining speed. Test yourself and experience the feeling of success together with your new sailing buddies. Imagine yourself standing at the helm and the feeling of steering a 65-metre sailing ship. Why not take in the horizon from the top of the ship’s masts? Treat yourself to the feeling of mastery, delicious meals and camaraderie. This weekend it is all about fun, action and excitement surrounded by magnificent scenery. Weekend Journey – Open to all ages, minimum age 12 years. Age 12-15 year accompanied by an adult / parent.

Ports

Arendal is a medium-sized town in the south of Norway. Its old city centre still retains wooden houses, dating back to the 17th century. The old harbor is called Pollen, and this is where you will find the fish market, cafes and restaurants. The surrounding countryside is hilly and green, and offers beautiful vistas over the islands and waterways nearby. Should you arrive in the summer, be sure to check is you’re on time for the annual jazz and blues festival!
