Stad Amsterdam:
Oslo (NO) - Copenhagen (DK)

24 September - 29 September 2015

On the morning of the 25th of September we leave the Norwegian capital Oslo and start to introduce the breathtaking scenery of Scandinavia to you. The long and narrow Oslo fjord with the many rocks around, is just a start! The sailing adventure continues along the granite rocks and the numerous islands and reefs of the Swedish west coast with colorful fisherman’s villages and many small fishing boats. The “Skagerrak” and “Kattegat” will be our next location and you will be sailing along hilly islands and historic commercial towns until we reach “The Sound”, marking the border between Sweden and Denmark, where the North Sea and the Baltic Sea meet. This very busy waterway has an extremely narrow passageway of only 4,5 kilometers and two ancient castles on each side. If the weather conditions are favorable we then will have made a brief stop at the old Danish harbor town Aarhus. After five days we arrive in Copenhagen and say goodbye to each other there. The beautiful palaces, the museums, the galleries and the nice shopping possibilities are perhaps the perfect end to an unforgettable sailing adventure. Open to all ages, minimum age 15 years.

Ports

Visit Oslo and experience its rich cultural life. The 1000-year-old Norwegian capital sits at the head of Oslo Fjord. This stunning setting gives hints of the wild wonders that lie just beyond the city. From taking in visual delights at Vigeland Sculpture Park, the Viking Ship Museum, the Munch Museum and Holmenkollen, to the new Nobel Peace Centre and the Holocoust Centre, Oslo offers plenty of food for thought. Did you know that Oslo is a forerunner on sustainability and environmental policy?

Copenhagen, Denmark's clean, modern capital will win you over with its many districts, each with its distinctive character. Copenhagen has an abundance of water and many parks, so rent a bicycle and explore the city! You'll find architecture old and new, lovely waterfronts and squares, fountains, and of course the friendly inhabitants of the city. Copenhagen has a lot of great restaurants and bars, and in the summer plays host to several festivals. In the winter, its museums are worth a visit.
