Papeete, Tahiti (PF) - Honolulu, Hawaii (US)

02 June - 29 June 2025

Set sail between Tahiti and Hawaii. Explore the Pacific Islands with the Tecla crew. This long voyage will give you enough time to really see what these amazing islands are all about. Dive into the waters around the atolls and dive into the culture of the islands. Fresh fruits on the islands, fresh breeze out on the waters. With a South East trade-wind you will head for the equator and cross it, meeting Neptune on the way. Winds in the North Pacific will turn to a South West wind, leading you to Hawaii. This is not just a holiday; it is an expedition. It is all about the experience and seeing these islands in a different way.
Open for all Windseekers, minimum age 15 years.

Ports

Papeete is a capital of Tahiti - the biggest island, as well as the cultural and political centre of French Polynesia. Enjoy the tropical vibes by spending a lovely day on a beach (white- or black-sanded!) Admire pearls and learn about their cultural history in the Robert Wan Pearl Museum. Take a stroll through the Papeete Municipal Market for a taste of local life and have a picnic in Paofai Gardens waterfront park.

Honolulu is the capital of Hawaii - a stunning archipelago on the Pacific Ocean. It's located on the island Oahu. Stretch your sea legs by walking one of its many breath-taking nature trails, like the famous Diamon Head, or relax on a tropical beach. For a dose of history visit the Iolani Palace and don't miss the Bishop Museum, founded in 1889 to preserve the Hawaiian history and culture. Then stop in one of the many restaurants to try local dishes.
