Port Stanley (FK) - Port Stanley (FK)

30 December 2024 - 11 January 2025

Falkaland island voyage. Set sail from Port Stanley and explore the Falkland Islands under sail. Depending on weather and wind, sail will be set around the North or around the South of the Falklands. As part of the expedition crew, your days will be filled with sailing and shore expeditions. Landing fees are included in the price. But any extra costs for activities on shore will be for your own account (think of 4×4 tours, special transport or museum entree fees). You will be part of setting sail and maneuvering the ship between the islands and into the best anchorages, from which a dinghy will bring you to shore – a new place to explore almost every day! During the navigation watch you will steer the ship and help keep a look out.
Open for all Windseekers, minimum age 15 years.

Ports

Port Stanley is the capital city of the Falkland Islands - a British overseas territory off the coast of Argentina. Take a trip to the Falkland Islands Museum to find out about the archipelago's stormy past. A trek to the Gypsy Cove will reward you with beautiful views, including the seals and penguins, while the Christ Church Cathedral is the southernmost Anglican cathedral in the world! The shipwreck of 19th century Lady Elisabeth in Whalebone Cove is easily visible from the shore.
