Rapa Nui (CL) - Papeete, Tahiti (PF)

02 May - 31 May 2025

Starting from Easter Island, the first part of the voyage will be an ocean crossing. With good weather, nice warm night watches and maybe even time to take a dive in the deep, deep blue, you are heading straight West to the first islands of the Pacific. Make sure to book some days on Easter Island before embarking, this voyage will most likely leave Easter Island the day after boarding, weather depending. Along the way, there will be enough time to visit many of the islands in between Hanga Roa and Tahiti. With beautiful anchorages where snorkeling is amazing, beach bbqs and evening beach strolls – this is paradise. This amazing voyage will take you on a very special exploration. This path is walked, but little, and together with the Tecla crew you will discover islands, anchorages and meet new amazing people.
Open for all Windseekers, minimum age 15 years.

Ports

Rapa Nui - or Easter Island - is a remote island on the Pacific Ocean. It belongs to Chile. Famous for its hundreds of giant stone statues (Moai), Rapa Nui is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Go diving with the underwater Moai, admire the Milky Way at night without the light pollution, explore the Anthropological Museum and try the local specialties for an all round experience.

Papeete is a capital of Tahiti - the biggest island, as well as the cultural and political centre of French Polynesia. Enjoy the tropical vibes by spending a lovely day on a beach (white- or black-sanded!) Admire pearls and learn about their cultural history in the Robert Wan Pearl Museum. Take a stroll through the Papeete Municipal Market for a taste of local life and have a picnic in Paofai Gardens waterfront park.
