Itinerary

Day 1: Welcome on Board. Your first evening will include introductions to the Tecla crew, fellow expedition members, and a comprehensive safety briefing.
Day 2-11: Set sail into the vast South Pacific, making your way toward the legendary Pitcairn Island. If weather, waves, and the local community permit, you may have the rare opportunity to land on Pitcairn and explore its fascinating history and culture.

Day 12-14: After leaving Pitcairn, head towards the remote Gambier Archipelago. These 300 nautical miles will bring you closer to the heart of French Polynesia, with plenty of time to enjoy life on board, including watchkeeping, celestial navigation lessons, or simply taking in the endless horizon.

Day 15-17: Arrive at the stunning Gambier Islands, where the lush landscapes and clear waters invite exploration. Discover Mangareva, hike to its scenic peaks, visit local villages, and immerse yourself in the island’s rich history. Smaller islands in the archipelago offer idyllic anchorages, snorkeling opportunities, and peaceful beach strolls.

Day 18-25: Sail into the pristine Tuamotu Archipelago, a vast region of coral atolls scattered across the Pacific. Explore lagoons, snorkel vibrant coral reefs, and soak in the serenity of this remote paradise.
Day 26-29: Discover the Society Islands. These final days offer a perfect blend of exploration and relaxation.
Day 29-30: Arrival in Papeete, the bustling capital of Tahiti. Enjoy your last evening on board before disembarking the following morning.

Ports

Rapa Nui – or Easter Island – is a remote island on the Pacific Ocean. It belongs to Chile. Famous for its hundreds of giant stone statues (Moai), Rapa Nui is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Go diving with the underwater Moai, admire the Milky Way at night without the light pollution, explore the Anthropological Museum and try the local specialties for an all round experience.

Papeete is a capital of Tahiti – the biggest island, as well as the cultural and political centre of French Polynesia. Enjoy the tropical vibes by spending a lovely day on a beach (white- or black-sanded!) Admire pearls and learn about their cultural history in the Robert Wan Pearl Museum. Take a stroll through the Papeete Municipal Market for a taste of local life and have a picnic in Paofai Gardens waterfront park.
