Midsummer cruise in the Channel – part one. Welcome the summer on board a Tall Ship! Board the Thalassa in Le Havre for a week-long journey in the English Channel. Cross to the Solent, then Swanage, Alderney, Mont Saint Michel, and finally St Malo. Steer, navigate, climb the masts and enjoy the atmosphere on board this beautiful Ship. Enjoy the days filled with sailing and explore different places. Depending on the wind and other conditions, the route of this expedition may be adjusted.
Open to all Windseekers over 15 years of age.

Ports

Le Havre is a large north French maritime commercial and passenger port established in the early XVI century. The city in on the UNESCO World Heritage Site for its historical buildings and is considered a birthplace of impressionism. Walk in the steps of Monet and discover the places you know from modern art. Take a hiking tour, visit one of the nearby castles (chateau), the Graville abbey, see the hanging gardens or take a walk in one of the many city parks.

St. Malo is an ancient town in the Brittany province of France and a major tourist destination. Visit the city ramparts to admire the old structures and beautiful vistas. Take a long walk along the Plage du Sillon beach before relaxing in the surf. Take some time to visit the unique Les Rochers Sculptes. Then go to the city and see the St Vincent Cathedral before trying some of the local food.

This process is automatic and you do not need to do anything else. After receiving your booking, Windseeker will send you detailed information on how and when to pay for your journey – together with all the other important details.

 

What does it mean?
