To the Tall Ships Races! Join the Valborg in Helsinki for a 10-day delivery journey to the opening events of the Tall Ships Races. Sail across the Bay of Finland and down the coasts of Estonia and Latvia, towards Klaipeda – a famous maritime city of Lithuania. Raise the sails, steer, navigate, and enjoy life at sea. Learn to make some knots, look at the stars without light pollution, and take in the beauty of the sea, without distractions. Reach your destination and enjoy the festival starting this year’s Tall Ships Races before you disembark filled with new memories of exciting sailing adventures!

Ports

Helsinki is the capital city of Finland with a population of about 600,000 people. It has been established in 1550. Take a ferry to visit the Fortress of Suomenlinna or the Seurasaari Island and Open-Air Museum. If you prefer to stay on the mainland you can't miss the Rock Church - literally built into rocks. Other attractions include the Esplanadi Park, Hakaniemi Market and lots of museum. Fans of architecture cannot miss the Finnish National Theater and the Lutheran Chathedral.

Klaipéda is a city in Lithuania on the Baltic Sea coast. The city has long maritime traditions - it even hosts its own Sea Festival in July! - and its architecture bears influences from several different cultures (French, German, Swedish). Take a walk down the Friedricho pasažas, visit the reconstructed Meridianas ship, find the quirky Golden Mouse sculpture and visit the Clock Museum.

What does it mean?

In short: you do not pay the booking amount to Windseeker but instead into an escrow account. This trust account holds your payment in reserve until your journey’s end. The booking amount is then released to Windseeker on the day after your trip ends. If Windseeker or the Ship should become financially insolvent before the end of your trip, STO Garant will implement the guarantee.
