Ports

Bermuda is a group of low-forming volcanoes in the North Atlantic Ocean, consisting of 181 islands. The first known European explorer to reach Bermuda was Spanish sea captain Juan de Bermúdez in 1503, after whom the islands are named. Bermuda’s culture is a mix of Native American, Spanish-Caribbean, English, Irish, and Scots. It is a British Overseas Territory. Bermuda has a humid subtropical climate, pink sand beaches and clear, cerulean blue ocean water. Go snorkeling to see the coral reef.

Halifax port is one of the largest fishing ports in the world and the largest Canadian naval base. You may visit several museums and art galleries and take part in one of many festivals. Take a stroll down Halifax Harbourwalk and sit down in one of the multiple cafes, restaurants and bars offering a wide variety of world cuisines – a testament to the city’s multiculturality.
